Sip Up The Green

SIP UP THE“GREENS”

We orchestrate our mornings to the tune of coffee or tea. Indeed, many of our daily scheduled lives kick start after sensing the aroma and taste of that cup of beverage. But how many of us really know that our morning cup of tea or coffee may actually help our weight loss efforts. Yeah, you heard it right!  The caffeine in coffee and tea could speed up your metabolism and help your body burn slightly more calories.

A study in Physiology & Behavior found that the average metabolic rate of people who drank caffeinated coffee was 16% higher than those who drank only decaf. Just be mindful of how much cream and sugar you add to your cup, which could offset any health benefits the beverage provides.

A regular cup of coffee or tea is what gallops through our throats commonly. But did you know that the other versions of our so-called regular coffee and tea are more beneficial than the former ones. Yes, indeed it’s about the green tea and green coffee.

Benefits of Green Coffee: By Dr. Rajyalakshmi

Green tea has carved a niche for itself in the fitness world. It seems to have got most of the limelight as far as weight loss is concerned. It has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which make it quite attractive! Green coffee has now made its way with its much effective weight losing promises. In addition, green coffee extract does not taste or smell like coffee, a supposed benefit for those who don’t enjoy it.

Though there’s nothing like a good workout to burn off fat and that no magic pill or powder can replace consistent work in the gym and a clean diet to lose fat, a handful of ingredients that could really help boost your metabolism and enhance your weight-loss efforts can add up to your assistance.

Both green coffee and green teas have some exceptional health benefits. They improve overall health, help burn fat and protect from aging. However, based on recent studies, while talking about weight loss, green coffee is a lot more effective as weight loss results appear faster. It helps people lose weight without crash diets and heavy workouts. These two ingredients – green tea and green coffee – may already be a part of your daily morning routine, but they’re also sold in supplement form as green tea and green coffee extract.

As the saying goes- “Too much is too dangerous”, depending on the quantities consumed, both green coffee and green tea can have both positive and negative effects.
