Abdominoplasty involves removal of excess fat and skin from abdominal wall and also involves strengthening of separated abdominal wall muscles. It is also called as tummy tuck surgery.
It won’t help in weight loss or to control obesity. It should not be considered in women planning pregnancy or those planning to undergo significant weight loss.
